Three people were injured in an early morning car accident in the Scottsdale neighborhood, police said.


The accident happened at about 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of 84th Place and Cicero Avenue, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.


The vehicle they were in struck a pole near the intersection, Perez said. The car was traveling northbound on Cicero Avenue, he said.





Three people were taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. They were initially listed in critical condition.


Two other occupants of the vehicle refused medical attention. No other details were available.
